If you don't tend to your vineyard, you will reap no produce. If someone doesn't attend to his Torah learning in the way he should, he could come to interpret the laws incorrectly. By learning about mitzvoth properly and then doing them properly, we will come to discover the true light within them which we can use to break through the darkness that surrounds mitzvoth.
