We all have a desire to think that we can replace G-d. Really, though, there is no place for any ego at all when it comes to Judaism. Our desire for self-importance is really nothing more than a desire for self-value. Why do we want to feel valuable and important? Find the road to intrinsic value, that which we all truly seek.
